The weekend that changed the world!

Friday was horrendous, the events that followed were so unusual but yet, it was just as it was stated. There was abrupt darkness, the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.

Friday was scary and worst was when the leaders instructed to make the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting a guard. Why on earth would they want to do this when He is dead?

On Sunday morning, much against cultural norms and, society not accepting such actions, two ladies went to have a look at the grave (tomb). What then transpired was dramatic, an earthquake, lightning, the seal breaks away and the grave (tomb) is opened up, an angel is seated on the rolled away stone, the guards terrified and then, a very personal encounter with these two ladies through whom, the news is conveyed to many more.

Of course just like the present, a story is never complete without bribery!

We have very sincerely enjoyed the numerous ‘Easter’ greetings, socializing with great enthusiasm. We also have tremendous fulfillment knowing that there is hope through:

The weekend that just concluded surely changed the world! Has it changed me? Yes it surely has! Does it help me to stay a changed person? Very hard – but the more I think of what my God can do to make an impact to the world, I am very much aware of what He can do to me!

Where then did the Easter Eggs come from? Symbolism and Tradition that does not guarantee us Eternal Life!
