We were attending a meeting outside our home turf, we had spent a few days together enjoying each other’s company, enjoying the food the country had to offer, and sharing in a lot of fun and laughter. Then one day, over lunch, he was listening to one of my stories and said “you are so funny Dil, I think the word to describe you is QUIRKY!”
My English is not good to understand the meaning, I insisted on detailed explainations which fell of deaf ears and, so I reached out to Mr. Google, since my two friends were enjoying the hysterical moments of my confusion and doubts and continued to say “Dil, your sense of humor is rather quirky“.
My doubts got me thinking of this one desire I strive to work at, its something I thought I was working at rather successfully and yet, it got me thinking – “let your light so shine before all men…” – and I questioned and challenged myself as to why I was not able to be what I so desire tho be? I even blogged on this desire a few months back.
My mind was not at ease, Mr. Google did not help my doubts either:

The fact of the matter and my conclusion in this state of my mind is that despite my efforts to try to be someone I would want to be, who I really am is the real me and the efforts I have to make to be the “light” requires persistance and lot more effort. Mr. Google had lot’s more to say:

Living without purpose is a living tragedy and trying to live a life with purpose is what one can hope for and something I long for. Working at living this life with purpose is not easy and requires tremendous effort. Wanting to live a life that sheds light means that I am required to be an inspiration, impact positively and contribute to quench the darkness. My batteries need to be charging always!
