The right model?

Tonight I’ve sat through two difficult moments.
Difficult because in both occasions I was being acknowledged for the efforts made and the outcomes being positive. It’s great when people say nice things but, how often do I take the trouble to express my appreciation for someone who has done something meaningful?

In the midst of a busy crazy, thankful day, I missed wishing my 93 year old uncle a happy birthday, and this is unacceptable if I am to sincerely show love?

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6;8

Despite the requirements for us to act justly I seem to miss the basics. I know that something is wrong to manage my time!
